CNN News Analyst Visits Sandhill Shores for Veterans Commemoration

STILLWATER, MINN. (December 6, 2024) – Sandhill Shores, a luxury apartment community located on The Lakes at Stillwater campus, and managed by The Goodman Group, hosted Lieutenant General (Ret.) Mark Hertling, DBA, for the first session of the community’s speaker series. General Hertling served in the United States Army for 38 years, in addition to serving as a military and national security analyst on CNN and CNN-International since 2014.

Sandhill Shores welcomed veterans, residents, family members, and the general public to this event. General Hertling led a conversation on the future of warfare, the evolving role of the United States military, and the importance of leadership. Attendees enjoyed hearing exclusive insights from such a respected voice in defense and leadership, followed by light refreshments and fellowship.
