The Lodge at The Lakes at Stillwater Hosts Deep Dive into Parkinson’s

STILLWATER, Minn. (March 20, 2024) – The Lodge at The Lakes at Stillwater, located in Stillwater, Minn., and managed by The Goodman Group, hosted a Deep Dive into Parkinson’s event on Friday, March 15. This event featured an impressive lineup of presenters and exhibitors, including Dr. Colum MacKinnon, Professor of Neurology, Director of Movement Disorders Laboratory at the University of Minnesota; Dr. Paul Tuite, Neurologist and Movement Disorder Specialist, Professor of Neurology at the University of Minnesota; Shantel Gassman, Ph.D., LP, Clinical Neuropsychologist at Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute; Jon Lipps from Acadia Pharmaceuticals; Kelly Palmer, OTR/L, LSVT Certified Clinician at Fox Rehabilitation; Kurt Julius from Acorda Therapeutics; Amy McKinley from AbbVie; Beth Dempsey, Rock Steady Boxing Program Director at The Lodge; and more.

The purpose of this event was to provide support and education for individuals and care partners impacted by Parkinson’s and offer a space to connect with others who are going through similar experiences. Attendees left with a better understanding of the disease, a sense of empowerment, and access to helpful resources, tips and strategies.

“For the second year in a row, we were excited to host the Deep Dive into Parkinson’s event to help raise awareness of Parkinson’s and offer support and resources to those affected by the disease,” said Executive Director Julie Kelly. “We appreciate everyone who attended and contributed to this significant event at The Lodge. We are especially grateful for all of the medical professionals and exhibitors who presented and made this event possible. We look forward to more opportunities like this in the future.”
