STILLWATER, MINN. (October 21, 2025) – The Lakes at Stillwater, a senior living campus in Stillwater, MN, comprised of The Lodge, Birchwood Landing and Sandhill Shores, hosted a special ribbon-cutting ceremony on October 13 to introduce the campus’ new John B. Goodman Walking Trail.
The Lakes at Stillwater is co-owned by The Goodman Family Operating Foundation (TGFOF) and Intergenerational Living & Health Care, Inc. (ILHC), and is managed by The Goodman Group in Chaska, MN.
The 0.52-mile walking trail, located along Long Lake and Sinnet’s Pond, is dedicated to John B. Goodman, a visionary leader who led The Goodman Group from 1976 to 2016. The trail honors John’s philosophy of putting people at the heart of everything The Goodman Group does — a principle that continues to guide its mission today. The trail also offers a meaningful space for residents, families, team members and the greater community to connect and enjoy nature.
During the grand opening, residents, their families, team members and guests gathered for a ceremony before walking the trail with volunteers from Bird City Stillwater. Attendees also enjoyed remarks that highlighted the history of The Lakes at Stillwater and John B. Goodman’s legacy. The event served as a heartfelt tribute and a reflection of the friendship, connection and joy that make the campus a special place to be.

The Lakes at Stillwater looks forward to continuing to honor the legacy of John B. Goodman while providing Platinum Service® to each individual it serves.
