Families are powerful sources of connection, meaning, and support, especially as we navigate changes that come with aging. This engaging and practical presentation explores how family dynamics evolve during later-life transitions and caregiving, and how both families and community team members can foster healthier, more supportive interactions. Participants will gain insight into common patterns that can increase stress, along with realistic tools for clearer communication, respectful boundaries, and repair when tensions arise. Our focus will be on strengthening understanding and creating calmer, more connected experiences for residents, families, and care teams alike.
