Learn about challenges that caregivers and families face in sharing the holidays and other celebrations with seniors and loved ones with dementia and hear suggestions for making events less stressful and more joyful. Session includes discussion about physical and cognitive changes in older adults that may impact their participation and enjoyment of activities, sharing of holiday traditions, planning for family events, outings with the individual, celebrations in community living, and ways to make pleasant enduring memories.
